Copyright workshop Friday 9th November

Scottish Council on Archives has organised an afternoon workshop on copyright at the Mitchell Library. It will explore and discuss new developments in terms of copyright law and research on cultural heritage institutions, and new resources that are available for the sector. These include the new EU Directive on copyright in the Digital Single Market and the implications of Brexit, work at the World Intellectual Property Organisation on an international treaty on limitations and exceptions for Libraries and Archives, and both the copyrightcortex.org and diligentsearch.eu resources which have been made available in the last year.
